The Art of Apathy
This is the first spread for the feature article Sitting… I did all the photography for the magazine.
For the first spread, I wanted a shot of a nice little cafe. I wanted the focus to be on the chairs, as if they were calling out to the reader “Come, sit on me.” The layout of the magazine is kept very clean and simple, with a lot of white space. The large format, 11"x14", allows for a lot of room to play with.
